Project Meet Me Halfway

6.29.10Imagine Walking for your Cause nearly 1700 miles from Nashville, TN, to Phoenix, AZ, to raise awareness of the plight of homeless youths, especially those who age out of the foster care system.…

People, Poles and Promoting your Cause…

Using your Walking Poles can bring more than Health and Wellness Benefits…

Those who join our Balance Walking program can take advantage of our support in just that way… Had we known Jimmy was planning this in December of 2009 we would have brought support on several fronts; Footwear, Inserts and Poles, etc.

Regardless, Jimmy, we will reach out and give a shout of encouragement and be there for your return trip.

Just ask Jimmy Wayne – a country music artist with an incredible singing voice and a charismatic stage presence. In the eleven years since he first moved to Nashville, he has had a number one country single – Do You Believe Me Now, two top ten country singles - Stay Gone and I Love You This Much and he has built a solid fan base with his performances all across the United States, most recently with Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley on their “American Saturday Night” tour in the summer of 2009.

Music is one of Jimmy’s passions, but he has also committed his life to helping young adults who are experiencing the same difficulties that he faced when he was younger. He says that he can never forget what he experienced, and his commitment is what drives him as he walks halfway across the country for Project Meet Me Halfway.

Great things begin with a thought in time at the right moment in time…

Jimmy got to thinking, and said, “What if I walk halfway across the country to raise awareness [about youth who age out of the foster care system with nowhere to go]?”
